Day 1: Arrive Nairobi -- Dinner
Upon arrival at Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met and greeted by our local representative who will then privately escort you to your transportation. Enjoy a brief introduction of Nairobi before arriving at your accommodation, the Giraffe Manor. Rest of the day at leisure with your own activities. Perhaps take a stroll around the sanctuary and visit the Giraffe Centre and explore the facilities offered by the property. Overnight at Giraffe Manor
Day 2: Nairobi -- Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Experience a breakfast like no other this morning at the Giraffe Manor. Waking up to breakfast with the giraffes must be one of the most incredible and unique experiences anyone can have. This activity is reserved exclusively for overnight guests of Giraffe Manor and is one not to be missed. After breakfast, start the day with a guided visit of the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. Best known for their work to protect elephants, the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust (SWT) operates the most successful orphan elephant rescue and rehabilitation program in the world. You will also visit the Karen Blixen Museum. Return to accommodation with time at leisure for your own activities. Overnight at Giraffe Manor
Day 3: Nairobi – Lake Naivasha – Lake Elmenteita -- Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
After breakfast with the giraffes this morning, check out and begin your journey into the wild uncovering the Great Rift Valley. Stop at the beautiful Lake Naivasha before arriving at your accommodation at Lake Elmenteita. Tucked among golden-barked acacia trees, under the shadow of ancient volcanoes, Lake Elmenteita Serena Camp is a truly magical setting for your next safari holiday in Kenya. You will find the small, immaculately maintained safari camp on the shores of glittering Lake Elmenteita in Kenya’s Soysambu Conservancy. After checking in, head out for your first Game Drive in the Conservancy. It is a home of the endangered Rothschild Giraffes and Black and White Colobus Monkeys. The conservancy hosts a good standing population of the three of the big five family namely Lions, Leopards, Buffaloes. Evening at leisure at the camp. Overnight at Lake Elmenteita Serena Camp
Day 4: Lake Elmenteita – Lake Nakuru – Lake Elmenteita -- Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
After breakfast this morning, head out for an excursion towards Lake Nakuru. Lake Nakuru is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the most famous lake in Kenya. It is one of the Rift Valley soda lakes at an elevation of 1,754 m above sea level. The lake's abundance of algae used to attract a vast quantity of flamingos that famously lined the shore. However, with the rising water levels, the flamingos fled in 2014 and have yet to return. Nevertheless, the site is still worth the visit for its game including crocodiles, elephants, rhinos and hippos. Return to Elmenteita for the evening at leisure. Day 5: Lake Elmenteita – Masai Mara -- Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
After breakfast this morning, you will begin your journey to what would be the highlight of your Safari experience in Kenya, the Masai Mara National Reserve. Upon arrival, check in to your accommodation at the Sala’s Camp; a tented camp that combines tradition with comfort and it’s a model of understated, intimate luxury. Situated in the southern, wilder corner of Kenya’s mighty Masai Mara safari game reserve close to the confluence of the Sand and Keekorok Rivers – an idyllic geographical feature that attracts teeming wildlife. Sala’s Camp location is a big draw, close to Tanzania with wonderful views of the Serengeti National Park, it is one of the first camps in the Mara to witness the legendary annual migration of wildebeest, which thunders by from June to September each year. Sala’s Camp also offers the best of the Masai Mara’s wildlife and birdlife year-round. Later in the afternoon you will head out on your first Masai Mara game drive. Evening at leisure at the Camp. Day 6: Masai Mara -- Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Rise early this morning for a Sunrise Game Drive in the reserve. The Masai Mara National Reserve, one of the most popular tourism destinations in Kenya- Africa. The reserve is in the Great Rift Valley in primarily open grassland. The Masai Mara is regarded as the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife viewing areas. There have been some 95 species of mammals, amphibians and reptiles and over 400 bird species recorded on the reserve. Complete the experience with a morning Bush Breakfast before returning to camp for some time at leisure. 2nd game drive in the afternoon followed by a sundowner campfire. Day 7: Masai Mara -- Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
This morning, you will have the option to view the Masai Mara from a different angle by going on a Hot Air Balloon Safari (Optional Add on and Subject to Weather conditions). Visit a Traditional Masai Village to experience how the people live in the middle of the bush with zebras grazing and lions roaring just outside their homes. Return to Camp for time at leisure. Afternoon game drive with sundowner campfire in the evening. Overnight at Sala’s Camp Masai Mara
Day 8: Masai Mara – Nairobi -- Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
After breakfast this morning, begin your journey back into civilization, to the city of Nairobi. Check in to your accommodation with the rest of the day at leisure. Driver at Disposal. Dinner at the famous Carnivore Restaurant with an all you can eat meat buffet. Overnight at Hemingways Nairobi
Day 9: Depart Nairobi -- Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
After breakfast, time at leisure with your own activities before checking out. Transfer to airport for your departing flights home.
